This week I created three new accounts: Gmail, Pandora and Pinterest. (Yes, I realize how terribly behind I am by just joining these sites now.) Of the three, Pinterest is undoubtedly my newest obsession; I only began pinning as of yesterday and already I can’t seem to stop. For those already on Pinterest, you can follow my boards here. And if you aren’t pinning yet, I definitely recommend it. I’ve already found numerous recipes and DIY projects I can’t wait to try. Not to mention I’m making quite the list of wardrobe staples that I need immediately.

For my final semester at UGA, I’m living in the same apartment (and with the same roommates) as last year. Because I didn’t sublease while living in Alpharetta over the summer, move in was a simple process. Everything in my room was already in place, but I wanted to change out two posters for new wall decorations. To fill the space, I took two old photo frames and replaced the outdated pictures with images I found from some of my favorite fashion blogs. The DIY project was simple and inexpensive, and the result was just what I was hoping for.
In my last post, I mentioned my great vintage finds from the shops at Little Five Points. This striped crop top was one of them and guess how much it cost me… the low, low price of $6! It’s perfectly lightweight for summer and so versatile. Paired with a high-waisted periwinkle skirt, this outfit is perfect for an afternoon out and about or in my case, a Sunday dinner with the family.
Because I’m already anticipating fall, most of my other purchases from L5P aren’t weather appropriate quite yet. I seriously can’t wait to bundle in layers, throw on chunky knit scarves, and pull on my flat boots. This heat wave in Georgia is intolerable right now.
